Philadelphia Independent Film Festival

One of the first of many festivals to give our film a big award, even though we were unable to attend. Both venues were in spectacular locations - the Levitt Theatre at Gershmon Y and the Caplan Performing Arts Center. I spoke on the phone with the festival director piror to the screening and he understood the political complexities portrayed in my film. It's rare to have such personal contact with a festival director. In fact, I'd say it's often impossible. For that reason alone, I recommend this festival highly.
